2026 5th International Symposium on Semiconductor and Electronic Technology (ISSET 2026)


From July 24 to 26, 2026, the 2026 5th International Symposium on Semiconductor and Electronic Technology (ISSET 2026) was successfully held at the Qingyuan Campus of Anhui University. The conference featured keynote speeches, invited talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, networking breaks, and award ceremonies, attracting nearly 200 participants from China and abroad to discuss cutting-edge technologies and future trends in related fields. The conference was organized by the School of Integrated Circuits at Anhui University, with co-organization by the School of Integrated Circuits at the University of Science and Technology of China, the School of Integrated Circuits at Anhui University of Technology, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at South China Normal University, and the Anhui Alliance for Innovation and Development in Integrated Circuit Graduate Education. Pengju Semiconductor provided sponsorship, while AiScholar provided comprehensive technical support and conference logistics.

Prof. Xiulong Wu, Chair of this conference and Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits at Anhui University, and Prof.Zhengfeng Huang, Vice Chairman of the Anhui Integrated Circuit Graduate Education Alliance and Vice Dean of the School of Microelectronics at Hefei University of Technology, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Li Zhigang of Anhui University.

The conference was honored to invite five distinguished experts to deliver keynote speeches: Prof. Lai Wang from Tsinghua University, Prof. Yue Zhang from Beihang University, Prof. Weifeng Lv from Hangzhou Dianzi University, Prof. Zhiting Lin from Anhui University, and Assoc. Prof. Liang Qi from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Their presentations covered frontier interdisciplinary topics such as silicon‑based optoelectronic integration, novel ferroelectric memory modeling, in‑memory computing architecture design, and brain–computer interface technology pathways, offering the attendees a high‑level academic feast.

In addition to the keynote speeches, the conference featured three thematic forums, 11 invited talks, 19 oral presentations, 19 poster presentations, and online breakout sessions. Topics covered hot areas such as novel optoelectronic devices and interconnects, memory-compute integrated chip design, novel semiconductor processes and devices, analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, and flexible smart sensing. The on-site event was marked by lively intellectual exchanges, a vibrant atmosphere, and enthusiastic interaction, resulting in a rich array of academic discussions. These achievements not only reflect the scholars’ in-depth exploration and innovative practices in this field but also inject new vitality and momentum into its development.

During the banquet, Wu Xiulong delivered a welcome address and expressed his sincere gratitude to the attending experts and scholars. Subsequently, Professor Li Yongfu of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Vice Chair of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, presented awards to the winners of the “Best Paper Award,” “Best Oral Presentation Award,” and “Best Poster Presentation Award.”

The successful hosting of ISSET 2026 has established a high-level, high-quality platform for academic interaction among scholars from China and abroad, effectively promoting interdisciplinary integration and providing valuable opportunities for the growth of young researchers. The conference also vividly demonstrated the continuously rising academic organizational capabilities and international influence of the School of Integrated Circuits at Anhui University. By hosting this event, the school has further solidified its foundations in discipline development, scientific research, and talent cultivation. Looking ahead, the School of Integrated Circuits at Anhui University will take this as a new starting point to continue deepening global academic dialogue and technical collaboration, and is committed to contributing more “Anhui University wisdom” and innovative strength to the development of global integrated circuit technology and industrial upgrading.
